Founding spirit.

The history of our company can be dated back to 1968, when Günther and Christa Detert seized their chance. They bought up a company and developed it further. Now under the name Günther Detert Schweißtechnik, but without its own workshop, production initially took place for rent in Hanovers district Linden in the Stammesstraße.

As awareness grew, so did the requirements and the volume of orders. As a result, the workshop was relocated but still in Linden. Before todays company premises in Lehrte were acquired and built on, the last stopover was in Ahlten.

Second generation family business.

In 1980/81, the Deterts finally built the current building on Daimlerstrasse in Lehrte and put it into operation a little later. Carsten Detert, the oldest son of the two company founders, discovered his enthusiasm for the craft at an early stage. At the age of 24, which corresponds to 1982, he acquired the title of master craftsman.

Twelve years later, Günther Detert handed over the company, which was rebranded into Detert Edelstahlverarbeitung, to his son. Carsten replaced his father as owner in a flowing process.

Constant further development.

Young and willing to change, Carsten Detert soon began to reshape and develop our company. From then on, sheets were machined and processed according to customer requirements. One principle was still in the foreground: Deliver the highest quality. It was only manufactured and sold what we would have put in our own living room.

In 2010 the company premises were expanded to include an operating hall to create more space for production. Seven years later, Jan Detert, Carsten's younger brother, joined the family business and since then has supported him as an authorized signatory and in the management. In 2019 Detert Edelstahlverarbeitung registered as a merchant.
